Assistant Teacher - Bus Rider - Oconomowoc Center
National Centers for Learning Excellence, Inc. is a federally funded nonprofit organization with centers in Waukesha and Oconomowoc and serving families throughout the county.
As part of our Head Start team, your primary responsibilities as
Assistant Teacher/Bus Rider
will include:
o Assisting with transporting children to/from school as a bus monitor.
o Delivering comprehensive preschool services as part of a Child Development Services team.
o Establishing "Compassionate Partnerships" with parents of enrolled children through daily interaction and family activities.
This is an approximately 30-hour-a-week, school-year position. To satisfy minimum qualifications for this position, candidate must meet one of the following: (I) Child Development Associate Credential; (II) Enrolled in a program leading to an Associate or Baccalaureate degree; or (III) Enrolled in or willing to enroll in a Child Development Associate credential program to be completed within two years.
