Job Description:
Benefits Manager Silgan Containers is hiring for a Shared Services Benefits Manager in our Oconomowoc, WI office.

What you'll do:
(a complete list of required job tasks can be found on the job description) Serve as the benefits subject matter expert for multiple business units of Silgan Holdings.
Manage 20 different health plans.
Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of benefit programs, policies, and procedures.
Aid in the evaluation, recommendations, and selection of employee benefit plans, including health, life, and disability for represented and non-represented employees to achieve desired economic cost structure goals of the business.
Inform, educate, and influence senior management in each division about benefit options and future cost predictions for existing benefit programs.
Work with consultants to renegotiate or reevaluate vendors in search of cost savings.
Work with outside ERISA attorneys to keep plan documents legally compliant as well as review new plan documents.
What you need to have:
Bachelor's degree in HR or Business, master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of benefits experience.
Comprehensive employee benefits knowledge, including all legislative requirements.
The ability to travel up to 10% annually.
Proficient computer skills in MS Word and Excel, Workday HCM preferred.
Experience working in manufacturing, with locations in multiple states spanning multiple unions.
