Overview Supervises work direction to assigned therapeutic services staff to ensure provided therapeutic services are individualized, address assessed needs, and are aligned with GLS foundational therapeutic approaches including trauma informed care and positive behavior supports.
Oversees the implementation and maintenance of ongoing therapeutic groups that address the social emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs and interests of residential students.
Offers advanced clinical supervision by performing case monitoring and review of student progress and therapeutic interventions/plans.
Applies knowledge, expertise, and experiences in the development of staff and makes recommendations to improve outcomes to meet the individual needs of each student.
Oversees the creation of therapeutic resources and develops training standards related to overall therapeutic modalities and supports.
Researches evidence supported/informed therapeutic modalities, as applicable to students, family members, and GLS staff for the purpose of continued advancement of our models and best practice.
Maintains department expertise and ensures compliance with program accreditation standards (COA), local, state and federal licensing and regulatory requirements, and community standards governing treatment services.
Serves as a member of the leadership team and is an active participant in committee based work, strategic planning, and multi-disciplinary collaboration.
Participates in the GLS suicide precaution on-call rotation and ensures timely completion of related paperwork.
Participates in residential team meetings, as needed, and supports ongoing staff education focused on trauma-informed care and positive behavior supports.
Attends various departmental, interdisciplinary meetings, as needed, to support collaboration among departments and to foster high-quality care for assigned students.
Monitors protection of all rights and reports any violations according to company policies, state and/or federal regulations.
Keeps current on ethical and clinical standards outlined by licensing entities, the American Counseling Association, and related professional associations; adheres to practical guidelines established by those entities.
Ensures services are provided in accordance with COA standards, funding sources, licensing agency requirements, and company policies/procedures.
Supports strategic planning processes and assists in developing initiatives supportive of the mission and vision statements of the company.
Identifies gaps in service provisions and/or company procedures and communicates these issues with the appropriate supervisory staff.
Performs other duties as assigned/delegated by supervisory staff which may not be specifically provided for in this description, but reasonably fall under the auspices of this position.
Performs human resource management and payroll processing functions for direct reports including interviewing and selection; orientation, training and performance monitoring and evaluations; coaching, counseling and corrective action and resolution of employee concerns.
Monitors overtime.
Maintains clear, objective documentation.
Supports staff in their professional development.
Conducts self in positive, respectful and collaborative manner in accordance with the ORP Beliefs and Behaviors demonstrating proactive actions and decision making to ensure supportive work relationships and a healthy and safe environment; is a role model to others.
Communicates effectively verbally and in writing with Company leaders, external partners and employees, maintaining professional conduct and confidentiality.
Attends workshops, seminars, in-services, etc.
which are related to therapeutic services, business operations; participates as appropriate in various professional groups.
Shares new information with department, leaders and employees.
Complies with and positively reinforces with others the expectations outlined in:
Company Handbook; policies and procedures including emergency/disaster procedures, fire/tornado safety and maintains confidentiality.

Qualifications:
Minimum of a master's degree in social work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or other related discipline required.
Licensure by the state of Wisconsin required.
Direct supervision or demonstrated leadership of therapeutic, professional staff is strongly preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
