What you'll do:
Install, configure, and support network equipment including routers, switches, SD WAN, Wireless AP & Controllers, and FirewallsDesign and implement network solutionsMonitor network performance and troubleshooting to improve network optimizationInterface with connectivity vendors including Verizon, ATT, Spectrum, and LumensCreate and implement network security measures by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring accessIP address auditingSwitch port configurational support including segmented LAN (VLAN) & VoiceProvide secure connectivity between Internet and internal network utilizing firewallsCoordination of cable installationWeekly 24 hour on-call supportMay assist with administering Video Conferencing systems and presentation toolsWorks with the various IT teams and plant staff to define and implement departmental projectsDefines, documents, and enforces system standardsDevelop and conduct various training and instruction for IT members or end usersWhat you need to have:
Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computers, or related field experience5
plus years of relevant experience with demonstrable experience with Cisco Switches, staticdynamic routing, and wireless as well as familiarity with communication and routing protocolsAbility to create ACLs, TCP/IP sub-netting, and VLAN trunkingAn understanding of Quality of Service (QoS), WAN/Optical technologies, Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers.
Cisco Switches, Palo Alto Next-Gen Firewalls, and Knowledge/familiarity with network monitoring solutions such as Solarwinds, PRTG, or ManageEngineWork independently or collectively with a teamWho We Are:
