What you'll do:
Implement servers, virtual machines, applications and system appliancesMicrosoft Windows Active Directory managementEvaluate technology needs and make recommendations consistent with IT standardsTake part in the design, architecture, implementation and maintenance of technology projectsMonitor and maintain critical IT systemsProvide support for servers, PCs, peripherals, system appliances, OS and application softwareProvide administration for access, permissions, and file system integrityManage patching solutions for OS and software applicationsImplement and maintain server data backup processes, both hardware and softwareAssist with the management of computer virus protectionWork with IT management and plant staff to define and implement projectsInteract with vendors and consultantsDocument new and existing technologies and assist with training and instructionWeekly 24 hours on-callTravel to other locations to provide onsite expertiseWhat you need to have:
Bachelor's degree Information Technology, Computers, or related experience with a focus systems infrastructure4
years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of server hardware and software platforms, PC hardware and software support, general networking, Windows Server platforms (2008 R2 through 2019), and VMwareGood knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite, PowerShell, security architecture, databases and applicationsAdvanced knowledge of computer security and networking, the OSI model, TCPUPD, and TCP PortsAbility to travel up to 20% domestically and internationallyMCSAMSCE certification, preferredWho We Are:
